This page will provide you with all the information you need if you want to obtain a custom avatar and/or title for the GTS Depot Forums.
General Information:
Basically, there are two ways of obtaining a custom avatar on my forums, and they are as follows:
- Contribute in a meaningful way to the GTS community that I like. Such as, oh I dunno, these guys. Though other contributions are welcomed too, such as stories, videos, etc.
- Donate 5 US Dollars or more to help out with server expenses.
If you do not agree with my logic that only people who go out of their way to contribute should receive special treatment, good for you, but I can assure you that I do not care. If you want to be Faceless Lurker #9358, again, good for you. Just please, please do not expect any special treatment. If you cannot bother to donate or otherwise contribute in any meaningful way, you will just have to make do with the default avatars.

To contact me to justify why you should get one for free because you are an asset to this community, click here to e-mail me and plead your case, making sure to provide lots of evidence. Keep in mind that if I do not like what you show me, I will gladly deny your request. Hell, I will probably be laughing at you as I type out my response.
If you need help making an avatar, such as you have a picture you want for an avatar but do not know how to make it avatar-sized, I will be more than happy to assist. Just e-mail me the picture after you donate or whatever, tell me what you want done and I will do it. Please do not forget to attach the image(s) in question.
Avatar Guidelines:
All avatars on the forum must follow a set of rules, and they are as follows:
- Must be 125 x 125 pixels or less in dimensions.
- Must be 50 KB or less in file size.
- Must be GIF, JPEG, or PNG.
- Animated .gifs are allowed.
- Must be approved by an admin.
Here is an example of an allowable avatar, one I made from my Batman the Animated Series: Volume 3 DVD box set:

Anyway, the above image precisely follows the rules. It is at exactly the maximum dimensions of 125 x 125 pixels, it is well under the 50 KB file size, and would be allowed by me because I find it to be funny. The only avatars I will not allow are extremely objectionable ones, such as a picture of a rotting corpse. Even I have limits.
